Day 8

We started the day totally sober from Market Drayton. We had a great ride to Nantwich where we stopped at a tea shop and enjoyed a toasted tea cake & coffee. We had a bit of a flog around the West side of Manchester but stopped for lunch in Knutsford at an Italian restaurant which was excellent. We had longer day in the saddle covering 73 miles. We have had a great meal at the pub next door to the Travel lodge. Colin & I brought too much stuff on this trip and managed to talk Richard into taking the excess back with him after he joined us for dinner.
